1. My Scientist Mae C. Jemison was an Astronaut & Physician. Jemison was the 5th Black Astronaut & the 1st Black Female in NASA history plus, she was the first black female in space.
2. Three inventions made by African Americans are : Super Soaker : Lonnie Johnson , Biscuit Cutter : A.P. Ashbourne , & the Elevator : Alexander Miles .
3. George T. Sampson invented the clothes dryer in 1892. If this wasn't invented, we'd still be using clothes lines and pins.
